DAYTONA BEACH, FL (April 30, 2010) -- Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center is under new management with the appointment of Michael F. Kardos and Libby Gallant to leadership roles for its luxury hotel and conference center property.
Michael F. Kardos has been named General Manager and Libby Gallant has been named Director of Marketing and Sales. Kardos has 30 years experience in the hospitality industry with 25 years in general management roles in hotels and resorts. Before taking the lead at the 322 room Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center, Kardos served as General Manager with Alliance Hospitality Management in Orlando, FL . He also managed properties for Intercontinental Hotels Group, Prism Management and Westmont Hospitality.
As Director of Sales, Libby Gallant, CHA, is responsible for group sales, corporate meetings and events for the 17,000 square foot conference center. She also manages all marketing, promotions and advertising efforts for the beachfront resort. Gallant has 20 years of hospitality experience. Prior to joining Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center, she worked as manager of sales, marketing, accounting and staffing for Emerald Shores Hotel. She served in various management roles for Ocean Waters Management, Hilton Garden Inn Speedway and Bahama House Resort.
